University of Finance - Marketing strengthens capacity for programme self-assessment under new accreditation regulations
On August 14–15, 2026, the University of Finance - Marketing held a training programme at its 778 Nguyen Kiem Campus to strengthen institutional capacity for programme self-assessment under Circular No. 04/2025/TT-BGDDT.
The programme brought together representatives of academic and administrative units, faculties and institutes, quality assurance teams, lecturers, and staff involved in programme accreditation. Experts from the Saigon Centre for Educational Quality Accreditation, including Dr. Duong Mong Ha, Director, and Assoc. Prof. Do Hanh Nga, PhD, Deputy Director, led the professional sessions.
The training focused on new accreditation requirements, principles of external assessment, self-assessment report writing, evidence collection and management, and the development of supporting evidence in line with the PDCA cycle. Participants also discussed practical approaches to applying the updated criteria within the University’s internal quality assurance system.
The programme was directly linked to the 2026 self-assessment of seven academic programmes: Tourism and Travel Service Management, Real Estate, English Language, Financial Technology, Management Information Systems, Restaurant Management and Food Service, and Hotel Management.
Through professional discussions and practical exercises, participating units were able to clarify issues related to assessment criteria, evidence systems, and report preparation.
The training forms part of the University’s 2025–2030 educational quality accreditation plan, supporting the implementation of updated standards across academic units while strengthening internal quality assurance and promoting continuous programme review and improvement.
Through these efforts, the University of Finance - Marketing continues to reinforce a quality-driven approach to education, with a focus on improving academic programmes and responding more effectively to the evolving needs of learners and society.
